Sister Mary Lorita

1933 - 1974

 

Sister Mary Lorita (Delores Haberkorn), 41, a Sun Prairie Sacred Hearts School teacher, died May 27, 1974, of cancer in the Notre Dame Health Care Center at Elm Grove, WI.

 

The funeral was held in the Notre Dame Health Care Center, Elm Grove.  Burial was in the Haberkorn family plot at St. Henry’s Cemetery.

 

She was born April 2, 1933, in Watertown.  She entered the Notre Dame Order on September 4, 1949.  She took her first vows July 2, 1953 and her final vows in 1959.

 

Sister Lorita taught in 1953-54 at St. Anthony’s School, Detroit, MI., Grade 1; 1954-60 in St. Michael’s School, Milwaukee, Grade 1; 1960-64, Holy Name School, Sheboygan, Grades 1 and 2; 1964-67, Holy Angels, West Bend, Grade 1; 1967-74, Sacred Hearts, Sun Prairie, Grade 2.
