WATERTOWN LAWYER LOSES TWO YOUNG SONS IN LESS THAN ONE YEAR

Watertown News, 12 03 1890

Everett Morelle Tuttle, age 7

The death of Everett Morelle, eldest child and only son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Tuttle, which occurred at the family home, Monday morning, Dec. 1, 1890, is a sad blow to the fond parents, peculiarly so from the fact that only last February another son, a bright little fellow of nearly three years of age was also called to the home of the Redeemed.

Everett was about his play as usual Thanksgiving Day, but in the evening was taken down with what developed into peritonitis and which carried him off in less than four days from the time he was attacked, meanwhile being treated by the best medical skill.

His age was 7 years and 6 months  He had usually enjoyed good health and was particularly bright and active for one of his years, the hope and joy of his parents, who have the warmest sympathy of friends and neighbors in the deep affliction that they have been called upon to sustain.

The funeral will be held from the family home, Washington Street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Rev. L. B. Bullock will officiate.
