Omar Strache

Omar H Strache, 60, 2228 N 72nd St, Wauwatosa, died Friday at Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee after undergoing open heart surgery.

 

Funeral services will be held Monday at the Schmidt-Bartelt-Gerber Funeral Home, Wauwatosa.

 

Graveside services will be held 11a.m. at the Oak Hill Cemetery, in Watertown with the Rev Steimke of Parkside Lutheran Church of Milwaukee officiating.

 

Strache was born in Ixonia on 5 July 1911, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Strache.

 

He is survived by his wife, Lila D Strache, one daughter Barbara, one son James, 2 step daughters Mrs. Gale King and Mrs. Frances Migsig, his mother Berndina Strache, 2 brothers, Wilbert and Edward Strache, 3 sisters, Mrs. Paul (Syliva) Buske, Mrs. Dale (Lenore) Goodnight and Mrs. Erwin (Valera) Krueger, 4 grandchildren and other relatives.

 

He was employed at the A O Smith Corp for many years as a steam fitter, and was a member of Parkside Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.
