Funeral
services will be held at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral
Home and Cremation Service with the Rev. Bernard Rott of St. Henry Catholic
Church officiating. Burial with military graveside rites by Watertown American
Legion Post No. 189 will be in Oak
Hill Cemetery, Watertown.

was a baker at the former East Side Bakery in Watertown and farmed in the town
of Concord. He was a member of Watertown American Legion Post No. 189,
Jefferson Masonic Lodge No. 7 and Zor Shrine in
Madison.
Survivors
include his wife, Wilheimine; a daughter, Susan (Dennis)
Duffy; two grandchildren, Shelly and Miranda Duffy; great-grandchildren, Mahkayla Duffy and Devon Arenz;
his mother- and father-in-law, Barbara and George Poellet;
two brothers-in-law, Heinz (Evalee) Poellet and Don Macheel; two
sisters-in-law, Betty Macheel and Erika Poellet.
He was
preceded in death by a daughter, Ingrid Fischer; his parents; a brother, Harry Scholer; and two sisters, Mary Stark and Ida Scholer.
