George Reason

1856 - 1912

George Reason died of cancer of the liver and bowels, at his home, 213 Montgomery Street, on Monday, June 24, 1912.  Deceased had been seriously ill for about two months and his death was expected at most any time during that period.  Deceased was born November 18, 1856, in England, and has resided in this city 36 years, being employed by the C.M.&St.P. Ry. as a carpenter.  Four children survive him, being WaIter, Percy and Miss Maude Reason and Mrs. Otto Lindemann of this city.  Mr. Reason was well and most favorably known in Watertown and was greatly esteemed by his large circle of friends.  He was a man of a quiet, unassuming nature, and always led an honorable and good life.  His funeral was held from his late home this afternoon to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.  The interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
