Nick Quinn Is Taken by Death

 

Milwaukee Resident Is Stricken Sunday; To Be Buried Here.

 

George H. (Nick) Quinn, resident of Milwaukee, died suddenly yesterday at Manitowish where he was spending the summer, according to a message received by his sister, Mrs. George Hoffman.  He was well known in Watertown.  For the past 15 years he had worked for the Sears-Roebuck Co. in their Milwaukee store.

 

Mr. Quinn was born in Oconomowoc. His wife was formerly Miss Irene Seibel of Watertown.  She survives. A daughter, Mrs. Arthur Barrett, died 14 months ago.

 

Besides Mrs. Hoffman there is another sister, Mrs. Thomas Lee Sheppard, Oconomowoc, and there is one brother, William Quinn, Milwaukee.

 

Mr. Quinn was a member of Watertown council No. 1478, Knights of Columbus, and was also a member of the Oconomowoc Young Bachelors’ club.

 

The funeral will be held in Milwaukee Wednesday morning from the Froeming Funeral home, Fond du Lac Avenue, with services at 9 o’clock in St. Leo’s church.  Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery, Watertown.  The cortege will arrive here about 11 a.m. The casket will be opened at the cemetery before final services are held.
