1921 - 2011
LONG BEACH, Calif. — Mrs. Pauline Bramer Lindborg passed away in Long Beach on Friday, July 22, 2011. She was 90 years old. She had been suffering from Alzheimer’s disease in recent years.
Pauline was born in Watertown, Wis., on Feb. 23, 1921. She was the daughter of Frank Bramer and Edna Goeldner Bramer, and the granddaughter of Edmund and Paulina (Speer) Goeldner and Henry and Emilie Krueger Bramer. All of the Bramer, Goeldner, Speer and Krueger families were well known and established residents of Watertown.
Pauline was an accomplished musician. She was well trained musically by both her mother, a well-known pianist, and her father, a music teacher/violist. Pauline established her own all girls band called “JoAnn Paule” and traveled through the United States during the 1940s.
In 1952 she married William L. Lindborg who passed away in November 2010. Pauline gave up her career to raise a family, however remained an active violist for many years as a member of the Beach Cities Symphony in Manhattan Beach.
Pauline is survived by her son, Bill Lindborg of Long Beach.
Pauline will be buried along with her husband in Oak Hill Cemetery in Watertown.
