Mabel L. Kulm

1909 - 2008

 

Mabel L. Kulm, 98, of Watertown, passed away Saturday evening, Jan. 12, 2008, at Marquardt Memorial Manor in Watertown.

 

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. in Bethany Chapel at Marquardt Memorial Manor in Watertown with the Rev. John C. Jeske and the Rev. Mark Gartner of St. Luke's Lutheran Church officiating.

 

Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Watertown, on Friday, with the Rev. Anthony Schultz officiating.

 

Visitation will be in Bethany Chapel on Thursday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.

 

Memorials are suggested to St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Watertown.

 

The former Mabel Laura Bellmeyer was born in Belgrade, Mont., on Feb. 18, 1909, daughter of Edward and Lina (Derr) Bellmeyer. She married Raymond Kulm in Illinois on July 8, 1927.

 

Mabel had been employed at the former Schweiger Industries in Jefferson for many years. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Watertown. Mabel enjoyed knitting.

 

She is survived by her special friends, Leroy and Marion Nell of Johnson Creek, and Phyllis Bartz of Watertown.

 

Preceding Mabel in death were her parents; her husband, Raymond Kulm on May 5, 1964; and a sister, Dorotha Goke.
