Mrs. Samuel E. Kuenzi, residing at
She was a native of the
town of Lebanon and was born
Following the death of
her father she moved to Watertown with her mother and a sister, Emily. This had been her home practically all the
time since then.
She was married
For several years
following her marriage she and Mr. Kuenzi went to
live on a farm in the town of Watertown and later they moved back to Watertown
where she had since resided.
Mrs. Kuenzi prior to her marriage taught school in Dodge County
and later was a teacher in Watertown.
Survivors are in
addition to Samuel M. Kuenzi, Arnold P. Kunzie, Malone, Wis.: Edward C. Kuenzi,
Watertown; Alfred C. Kurnzi, Johnson Creek: and Walter
H. Kuenzi Clyman. Also surviving are two sisters,
Mrs. Hermine Drake, Oak Grove, and Miss Emily F. Creydt,
Lowell. There are three grandchildren.
Mrs. Kuenzi attended services of the Christian Science Society
here.
She was long active in
the community and was particularly interested in the development of the
Watertown Historical Society.
All her life she was a
student and had an open mind on daily happenings and events in the community
and nation. She followed the day by day news
events with interest even in her advanced years. She loved gardening and flowers and was a
lover of nature. She had many friends in
the community and her death removes a woman who lived a long and exemplary life
in this community.
The funeral services
will be conducted Thursday at 2 p. in. at the Schmutzler
funeral home.
Interment will be in
the family lot in Oak Hill
Cemetery.
