Kleinsteiber Funeral to be Saturday
Former Catherine Carey Dies at Hospital Today

Mrs. Catherine G. Kleinsteiber,
68, of 1409 Duffy Street, widow of Edwin L. Kiernsteiber,
died at St Mary's Hospital this morning after an illness of several months.
She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Carey and was born here on Nov. 10, 1891.
On April 12, 1915, she was married to Mr. Kleinsteiber
in St. Bernard's Catholic Church. They
resided on a farm in route 3 until 1951 when they moved to Watertown. He died
here in 1956.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Wrensch, Johnson Creek, a son, Edwin J. Kleinsteiber,
this city, eight grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Mae Meyers, Clyman and
Mrs. John Ready, Richwood. There is also
one brother, Edward Carey, Watertown.
A daughter Angeline and one sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral for Local Man to Be Monday

Edwin L. Kleinsteiber, 65,
of 1409 Duffy Street, died this morning in the Madison General Hospital. His death followed a brief illness. He was born March 23; 1891, in the town of
Farmington and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Kleinsteiber.
Mr. Kleinsteiber had resided
on the homestead farm on route 3 until moving to Watertown five years ago.
His marriage to Catherine Carey took place in
Watertown, April 12. 1915. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Vernon Wrensch, route 1, Johnson Creek; one son, Edwin Jr., route
3; seven grandsons; one brother, George, Marshall, and several nieces and
nephews. Three brothers and one sister
preceded him in death.
Mr. Kleinsteiber was a
member of the Wesley Methodist Church, where the funeral will be held Monday at
2 p.m. The Rev. William Stevens will
officiate and interment will
be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends may pay their respects at the Pederson Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Sunday and. up to 11 a.m. Monday when the body will be taken to the church to lie in state.
