J. Kenneth Kaddatz

1929- 1974

 

J. Kenneth Kaddatz, 45, of 1317 Lillian Street, Fort Atkinson, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday at his home following an apparent heart attack.

 

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Faith Community Church in Fort Atkinson with Rev. Harold W. Powell officiating.  Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Watertown.

 

Kaddatz was born in Watertown Dec. 12, 1929, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kaddatz.  He married the former Vada M. Flath in Watertown Nov. 27, 1952.

 

He attended the Watertown Public Schools and graduated from Wisconsin State University, Whitewater, in 1970.  He had been a resident of Fort Atkinson for 20 years and operated the Albert Shoe Store for three years.  For the past four years he taught fifth grade at the elementary public school in Lake Mills.

 

Kaddatz was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the U.S. Navy as a corpsman.  He was a member of Faith Community Church.

 

Surviving are his wife, two sons, Todd A. and James K. at home, his mother, Mrs. Anita Kaddatz of Watertown, and one sister, Mrs. Ronald (Kay) Uhlhorn of Pardeeville.  His father and one brother preceded him in death.
