On Friday, Sept. 11, 1908, Mrs. Frank Gates, nee Ethel Lee of this city, died at her home in Chicago of diabetes. She had been in poor health but a short time, and had been married scarcely a year. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Lee, who removed from here to Portage about eight years ago, and was born here October 2, 1888. She was a most excellent lady, and her hosts of Watertown friends learned of her death with sincere sorrow. Sunday her remains were brought to this city and funeral services were held from St. Paul's Episcopal Church. The interment was in Oak Hill cemetery. Her husband survives her . . .
