Miss Helene Anna [Lena] Feske

Funeral services will
be held her Friday at 2 p.m. at the Schmutzler
funeral home for Miss Helene Anna Feske, better known
as Lena Feske, who died yesterday at hospital in
Jefferson. Since leaving Watertown a little
over five years ago she had lived with a sister, Mrs. Louis Kisow
at Lake Mills.
She was injured in a
fall some years ago and more recently had been forced to undergo hospital treatment
at Jefferson, having been more or less bedridden in recent years.
Miss Feske was born in Watertown on Oct. 14, 1871, a daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Feske. Her home here was at 613 North Second Street when
she lived in Watertown. For many years she
was a clerk in the Harry Stube shoe store and later engaged in dressmaking.
Surviving are two
sisters, Mrs. Louis Kisow, Lake Mills, and Mrs.
Theodore Wille, Watertown. Two other sisters, Mrs. Joseph Ertl and Mrs. William Sack, preceded her in death. There
are four nieces and two nephews.
During her residence
in Watertown Miss Feske had been affiliated with
First Methodist church.
Following the
service Friday interment will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
