Louis Daugs
1866 - 1947
Louis Daugs,
He was born
Mr. Daugs had lived here for about 30 years, after leaving his
farm in the town of Milford.
Surviving was the one
daughter, Mrs. Hoppe. An only son,
Louis, died at the age of 28 in 1924. There were four grandchildren and two
great grandchildren. Mr. Daugs was the last of a
family of five children, three sisters and one brother having preceded him in
death.
He was a member of
Wesley Methodist Church.
For many years, after
moving to Watertown, Mr. Daugs worked as a driver for
the former Krueger livery and in more recent years had served as caretaker of
both Wesley and First Methodist churches.
The funeral services
were at the Nowak Funeral Home. The Rev.
Don T. Stannard of First Methodist Church officiated.
Burial was in Oak Hill
Cemetery.
