Nancy J. Burdick 64, of Dousman, formerly of Watertown, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc.
Nancy was born on Sept. 18, 1946, in Watertown the daughter of Leon and Jane (Nehring) Burdick. She was a 1964 graduate of Watertown High School. Nancy worked in the classified advertising department with the Lake Country Publications for many years, retiring in December of 2007. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Watertown. She was also a member of the Women of Watertown Moose Lodge No. 830 where she held the Academy Friendship and College of Regents degree.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Jane and Dick Riddle of Oconomowoc; special friend Wayne Witte of Dousman; stepsisters Vicki Riddle Johnson and Nicki Riddle Broyles; uncle, Ken (Sandra) Nehring of Whitewater; also survived by a number of cousins, other relatives, friends and the Witte family. She is preceded in death by her father, Leon, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Pederson Funeral Home of Watertown with the Rev. Terry Larson officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Watertown.
