William Bellack
Called By Death
Well Known Instructor of
Music
Watertown
Leader, 09 14 1906
At 6:06 o’clock Sunday evening occurred the
death of William Bellack, a well
known resident of this city and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Bellack of 214 South Fourth Street, where the death
occurred.
The deceased was forty-two years, seven months
and four days old. For the past twelve
years he had been a sufferer with heart trouble. He was a single man and musically
inclined. In fact, for three years he
studied music at Leipzig, Germany. After
returning to this country he taught music in one of the conservatories at
Chicago for several years. He then went
to Nashville, Tenn., where he also taught for several years in a
conservatory.
Unfortunately, ill health forced him to abandon
his musical career to a great extent and he was obliged to give up his position
with an extremely bright future in the musical world before him and return to
this city, since which time he has made his home with his parents, keeping up
his instructions in music as best he could, despite the fact that he was a
great sufferer.
The deceased is survived by his parents and five brothers and three sisters . . .
