Welch - Coughlin

1972

 

Miss Kristine Welch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Welch, 1030 Pleasant Street, became the bride of John Coughlin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Coughlin, 806 Main Street, June 3, 1972. The ceremony took place at St. Henry's with the Rev. Raymond Dunn officiating.

 

Misses Sue Rabbach, Michelle DeTroye, Lynn DeTroye and Janet Baumann provided the music at the guitar mass.

 

Miss Kathleen O'Herrin was the maid of honor.  Mrs. Lee Ehrenzeller, Mrs. David Punzel, sister of the groom, Miss Kristine Coughlin and Miss Maureen Coughlin, also sisters of the groom, were the bridesmaids.

 

Michael Coughlin attended as best man, with Joseph Coughlin, Patrick Groehler, Michael Groehler and Michael Whitney serving as groomsmen. David Punzel and James Welch, brother of the bride, ushered.

 

A reception followed the ceremony at the Green Bowl.

 

The groom attended the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, and was employed at Watertown Sod for the summer. His wife was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, and was employed as a social worker at the Bethesda Lutheran Home.
