Sherman - Starken

Miss Audrey Jane Sherman, daughter of Mrs. Victoria Luther, 208 Riverlawn Avenue, and James T. Starken, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Starken, Rochester, N. Y., were wedded on August 23, 1952, St. Henry's Catholic Church. The service was read by the Rev. A. J. Herrmann.

Maid of honor was Miss Mildred Rademacher, Escanaba, Mich., and bridal aide was Miss Anita Chaltry of Munising, Mich.

Best man was John Patrick Gaffney, Marinette, Mich. Ushering the guests was Robert Vergenz. Ring bearers were John and Peter Luther.

The bride, who graduated from Watertown High School, attended Marquette University for one year and graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, N. Y. The groom also graduated from the Rochester institute. He served with the Army engineers in the Philippines and the military government in Korea.

The couple resided in Milwaukee.
