Rohloff - Scher

The wedding of Miss Joyce Mary Rohloff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Rohloff, 311 South Washington Street, and Clarence S. Scher, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Scher, route 3, was solemnized in St. Henry's Catholic Church. The nuptial ceremony was performed by Father Anthony J. Herrmann.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Miss Patricia, Callahan, Hartford, cousin of the bride, and bridesmaids were Mrs. Gerald Riedl, Waterloo, also a cousin of the bride, and Miss Grace Stangler.

Jerome Friedman, Milwaukee, attended as best man and groomsmen were Gerald Riedl, Waterloo, and Dennis Gene Miller, Huntington, Ind. Charles Rohloff, Janesville, and Eugene Weiss, Hartland, ushered.

The bride graduated from Watertown High School and was employed at the Village Blacksmith Co. The groom was engaged in farming on route 3, Watertown, where the young couple lived.
