Richter - Strahota

(1952)

 

Nuptial vows were exchanged on August 23, 1952, at St. Henry’s by Miss Jean M. Richter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Richter, 106 Irene Street, and John R. Strahota, son of Mrs. Edward Strahota, 306 South Montgomery Street.

 

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Donald Lins.

 

Miss Kathleen Richter attended her cousin as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Jane Frittinger, Jefferson, and Mrs. Fred Pagel, this city, also cousins of the bride.

 

Mr. Strahota's best man was his brother, Ralph Strahota. Groomsmen were Otis Beyer and Earl Nienow. Ushers were Robert Pagel and Thomas McGrath.

 

Soloist was Mrs. John Pagel, who sang "Pinis Angelicus" and “On This Day.”

 

Mr. Strahota and his bride were both graduates of Watertown High School. He attended Wisconsin State College, Whitewater, and was employed at Waukesha Motors, Waukesha. Mrs. Strahota also graduated from Wisconsin State College and taught teach first grade in the public schools at Waukesha.

 

The newlyweds resided in Waukesha.
