Pitterle - Ambrose

On Saturday morning, May 29, nuptial vows were exchanged in St. Henry's by Miss Eleanor Pitterle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Pitterle, 1112 Ruth Street, and Heron Ambrose, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ambrose, Jefferson. Officiating at the ceremony was the Rev. A. H. Foltz.

 

Mr. Pitterle presented his daughter in marriage.

 

Miss Gertrude Pitterle, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.

 

Bridesmaids were Miss Virginia Ambrose, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Dorothy Pitterle, sister of the bride.

 

Ushers were Joseph Burnett and Leo Ambrose.

 

Dinner was served at the Pitterle home for the immediate relatives. A reception feting the couple was held at Union hall.

 

Mrs. Ambrose is a graduate of Watertown High School and was formerly employed at the J. C. Penney Co. store in Watertown.  Her husband was a graduate of the Jefferson High school and is employed at the Union Upholstering Co., Jefferson. The newlyweds resided at 409 Main Street, Jefferson.
