Molzahn-Zoelle

06 16 1897

An interesting matrimonial event was celebrated at St. Henry’s Catholic Church this morning at 9 o’clock in the marriage of Joseph Molzahn and Miss Rose Zoelle, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Father Kampschroer in the presence of a large company.

The bride was waited upon by Miss Annie Molzahn and Miss Celia Molzahn, sister of the groom, while the groom was attended by Frank Zoelle.

Following the ceremony the wedding party repaired to the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Augusta Zoelle, 909 Vine Street, where a reception was held and a collation served.

At 5:23 this afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Molzahn will leave on a week’s trip to Chicago and other points, returning from which they will take up their residence on the old Molzahn homestead, West Road.

The contracting parties are numbered among our popular and well-known young people, and they enjoy the esteem and good-will of the entire community.  It is the earnest wish of all that their married life may be a continuous pathway of happiness and prosperity.
