Shannon Meylor
became the bride of Patrick Richards of Waukesha during a June 7, 2008, wedding
ceremony at St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown. The 1:30 p.m. ceremony was conducted by the
Rev. Brian Wilk.
Parents of the couple are Brian
and Karen Meylor of Watertown, John Richards of
Cottage Grove and Leslie Richards of Beaver Dam.
Maids of honor were Samantha and
Sarah Meylor, sisters of the bride. Serving as bridesmaids were Kayla Richards,
sister of the groom, Julie Bindl and Kaitlin Warriner.
Best men were Abraham White and
Adam Whittow.
Groomsmen included Josh Meylor, brother of the
bride, Lance Tangen and Robert Barse. Serving as ushers were Shane Facchino and Ryan Thurow.
Musical selections during the
ceremony were performed by pianist Nadine Thurow,
with soloist Julie Bindl.
A reception followed at Windwood in Watertown.
The groom is a graduate of the
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and works for the Wisconsin Department of
Corrections.
The bride is also a graduate of
the Eau Claire University and works in the special events department at
Children's Hospice of Wisconsin.
The couple is making their home
in Waukesha and took a honeymoon trip to Negril,
Jamaica.
