Ruth Marek - Robert Manering

St. Henry's was the scene for the wedding ceremony on June 2, 1951, which united in marriage Miss Ruth Marek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Marek, Watertown, and Robert Manering, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Manering, Royalton, IL. The Rev. A. Herrmann officiated at the double ring rites.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The matron of honor was Mrs. Fred Bigler, sister of the bride. The bridesmaid was Mrs. Robert Blessing Chicago, sister of the groom.

Mr. Manering’s attendants were Richard Marek Jr., brother of the bride, and Robert Blessing, his brother-in-law, Chicago.

Ushering the guests were Joseph Marek, brother of the bride, and Victor Eilenfeldt, brother-in-law of the bride.

The couple made their home in Madison. The bride is employed by the state department of agriculture and Mr. Manering is with Rav-O-Vac.
