Anna Luber - W J Toussaint

1881

Watertown Gazette, 10 28 1881

One of the happiest weddings of the year took place Wednesday morning at St. Henri’s church in this city, being that of W. J. Toussaint and Miss Anna Luber, Rev. Father Spath officiating.

Frank Toussaint, brother of the groom, and Miss Mary Schaus, of Milwaukee, cousin of the bride, acted as groomsman and bridesmaid.

After the ceremonies at the church the bridal party and their friends proceeded to the residence of the bride’s parents, where a reception was held during the afternoon and evening, relatives and intimate friends of the contracting parties being the only ones present.

Both bride and groom have lived in this place from their infancy and have always been known only to be respected. A host of warm friends unite in wishing the young couple a long and bright matrimonial career.

Mr. and Mrs. Toussaint have acted very sensible by remaining in the city and immediately commencing housekeeping.
