lmming - Schroeder

1951

At an October 6, 1951, nuptial Mass in St. Henry’s Church, Miss Anna Marie Imming, Superior, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Imming of New Glarus, formerly of Watertown, became the bride of M-Sgt. Frederick G. Schroeder, Superior, son of Mrs. Freda Schroeder of Dodgeville. Father A. J. Herrmann performed the ceremony.

Mr. Imming gave his daughter in marriage. Miss Helen Imming was her sister's maid of honor.

Lavern Schroeder attended his brother as best man. Ellery Schroeder and Robert Schroeder, also brothers of the groom, were ushers.

A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Rothschadl. The Green Bowl was the scene of the dinner and afternoon reception.

A graduate of the Dodgeville High School, the groom was an air force ROTC instructor at Wisconsin State College, Superior. His bride graduated from the Watertown High School and was business office supervisor for the Wisconsin Telephone Co.

The newlyweds resided in Superior.
