Gertsbauer - Renz

Vows were exchanged at St. Henry's Church by Paula Gerstbauer, 612 1/2 South Second Street, and Paul A. Renz, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Renz, 612 1/2 South Second Street. The Rev. A. J. Herrmann officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Ben Groebler, sister of the groom, was the bride's only attendant

Herbert Renz, Fort Atkinson, attended the groom as best man.

The groom, a member of the U.S. Army for eight years, served with the 84th division in World War II. His last overseas duties were in Austria. After the wedding he returned to Camp Polk, LA. His bride arrived in Watertown January 20 from Salzburg, Austria. She traveled to the United States on the Queen Mary.
