Marian Fendt,
Donald Behling
1948
At
a double ring ceremony performed January 17, 1948, at St. Henry 's nuptial vows
were exchanged by Miss Marion A. Fendt, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene E. Fendt, 308 North Fourth
street, and Donald E. Behling, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Behling, route 1, Lake
Mills. Rev. A. H. Foltz officiated.
The
bride chose as her attendants her sisters, Mrs. Gerald F. (Jane Fendt) Schubert, who acted as matron of honor, and Miss
Dorothy Fendt, bridesmaids.
Gerald
F. Schubert, brother-in-law of the bride, was best man, while Roger Behling, cousin of the bridegroom, was groomsman.
Ushers
were Eugene J. Fendt and Paul Bohlman.
A
dinner for members of the bridal party and immediate families was served at the
Green Bowl. St. Henry's Hall was the scene of the reception.
The
bride is a graduate of Watertown High school and has been employed at the S. S.
Kresge. Her husband graduated from Lake Mills High
school. The couple will reside at Route 1, Lake Mills.
