Marilyn Buchholz - Donald Koch

1951

 

In the rectory of St. Henry's Church, Miss Marilyn Mae Buchholz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Buchholz, 206 O'Connell Street, and Pfc. Donald H. Koch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Koch, 1000 Labaree Street, repeated nuptial vows after the Rev. A. J. Herrmann on August 18, 1951.

 

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

 

Matron of honor was Mrs. Robert Babcock, Milwaukee, sister of the groom.  Attending as bridal aide was Miss Nancy Wade, friend of the bride.

 

Robert Babcock, brother-in-law of the groom, was best man and groomsman was Donald Piper, cousin of the bride.

 

The newlyweds were feted at a reception at the Buchholz home, after which they left on a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin.

 

Mr. Koch and his bride were both graduates of the Watertown High School. He enlisted in the U. S. Air Force in March, 1951, and was stationed at Fort Snelling, Minn. His bride was employed in the office of Dairy Lane Inc. Coop., Watertown.
