Dorothy Brusenbach - John Thompson

Miss Dorothy Brusenbach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brusenbach, 712 North Second Street, and Pfc. John P. Thompson, Jr., Camp McCoy, son of Mrs. Lorraine Thompson, Madison, were united in marriage Sept. 8 in St. Henry's Church. Officiating was the Rev. A. J. Herrmann.

 

Mr. Brusenbach presented his daughter in marriage.

 

Mrs. Vernon P. Leary attended the bride as matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Miss Alice Burns.

 

Best man was Vernon P. Leary and groomsman was Paul Bruns. Ushers were Lenard Rinden and William Kelleher.

 

The Carlton hotel was the scene of the wedding dinner and reception. A supper was served at the bride's home.

 

The groom attended Central High School, Madison, and prior to entering service was employed by the Wisconsin Power and Light Co. Madison. His bride graduated from the local high school and was formerly employed at the Ray-O-Vac Co. office, Madison.

 

The newlyweds honeymooned in northern Wisconsin. They resided in Tomah.
