Baurichter - Boyum
(1949)
On
July 2, 1949, St. Henry's Catholic Church was the scene of the marriage of
Alice Baurichter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert A.
Baurichter, 414 North Third Street, and Harry Boyum, son
of Mrs. Josephine Boyum, 310 Green Street. Rev. A. H. Foltz officiated at the service.
Mr. Baurichter gave his daughter in marriage.
The
bride's sister, Miss Florence Baurichter, was maid of honor and the groom's sister, Mrs. Harold Wolf, was
bridesmaid.
Francis
Haznow, cousin of the groom was best man and Herbert
E. Baurichter, Jr., brother of the bride was
groomsman.
Ushers
were Andy Boyum and Edward Boyum,
brothers of the groom.
The
groom is a graduate of St. Henry's Parochial School and the Watertown High
school and a veteran of World War II, having served in the European theatre. He
is proprietor of the Boyum Grocery store, 902 North
Second Street. The bride also is a graduate of St. Henry's School and the local
high school, and was employed as receptionist at the office of Dr. Harold Magnan for seven years. The couple resided at 902 North Second.
