Reuben Van Hecke

Reuben R. Van Hecke, 23, of Watertown, died November 7, 2005. A memorial service was held November 12th at St. Henry’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Bernard Rott officiating.

The Hafemeister Funeral Home of Watertown is in charge of arrangements.

Reuben was born Feb. 20, 1982, in Alamogordo, N.M., son of Thomas and Claudina (Flores) Van Hecke. Reuben was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church.

He enjoyed reading and music.

Surviving are his mother and father, Thomas and Claudina; a sister, Laurraine Van Hecke; three brothers, Joseph Van Hecke, Leander Van Hecke and Alberto Van Hecke; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Alberto Flores, and an uncle, Telesfor Flores.
