Agnes M. Schuett

Agnes M. Schuett, 91, of Watertown, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Marquardt Health Center in Watertown.  

 

Agnes Mary Peirick was born on May 1, 1928 in Watertown, the daughter of William and Mary (nee Pitterle) Peirick.  On September 4, 1948 she was united in marriage to William A. Schuett, Jr. at St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown.  She took great pride in taking care of her family and home while helping out on the family farm.  She retired from Johnson Controls in Watertown where she had been employed for over 15 years.  Agnes was an avid Green Bay Packer, Wisconsin Badger and Milwaukee Brewer fan.  She enjoyed watching the Home Shopping Network.

 

Agnes is survived by her children: Patricia (James) Nehls, Richard Schuett, Paul (Mardelle) Schuett, Bev Bailey and Phil (Deb) Schuett, all of Watertown; grandchildren: Todd (Penny) Nehls, Troy Nehls, Emily (Justin) Zastrow, Nathan (Sheena) Schuett, Derek (Cindy) Schuett, Jonathan (Nikki) Schuett, Bethany (Mason Kohlhapp) Schuett, Jason Schuett, Korey (Larissa) Schuett, Tonya (Eli) Lewis, Amber (Brad) Schuett and Joe (Jana) Pingel; 22 great-grandchildren; a soon-to-be great-granddaughter; sisters: Mary (Jim) Henry of Indiana and Joanne Blank of Beaver Dam as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; parents; sons, John Schuett and Joseph Schuett; son-in-law, Dennis Bailey and granddaughter, Christina Schuett.

 

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with Rev. Jane Gehler from Marquardt Village in Watertown officiating.  Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  A private family burial will take place at St. Henry Catholic Cemetery in Watertown.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Marquardt Hospice or the Watertown Humane Society would be appreciated.
