R. A. Schubert Is Dead at 41
Life Long Resident of City to Be Buried Monday
Robert A. Schubert, 41, of 226 North Maple Street, died at 11:20 p.m. Aug 10, 1916, at the Veterans Hospital, Madison. His death followed a short illness. He was a lifelong resident of Watertown and was born Aug. 10, 1916. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schubert.
Mr. Schubert was employed as a foreman at the Waukesha Motor Company, Waukesha. He was a veteran of World War II and had served with the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Schubert’s marriage to Arvilla Buss took place Nov. 3, 1943 in St. Henry’s Catholic Church.
He attended St. Henry’s Catholic School and the Watertown High School.
Surviving are his wife and four daughters, Judith Ann, Patricia Lee, Nancy Jane and Barbara Lynn, all at home; five brothers and one sister, Gerald and George Schubert. Mrs. L. H. Brown, Henry, Arthur and Edwin Loukota, all of Watertown.
His mother preceded him in death five days ago. She was buried on Wednesday.
The funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from the Boyle Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Henry’s Church. The Very Rev. A. J. Herrmann will officiate. Interment will be in St. Henry’s Cemetery. Military rites at the grave will be conducted by the Amvets Post.
Friends
may pay their respects at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday. The
Ushers Society and parish rosary will be said Sunday evening at 8 o’clock.
