of Watertown, died on
A Mass of Christian
burial was held at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Watertown with the Rev. Bernard
Rott officiating. Burial was in St. Henry’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers,
memorials were suggested to St. Henry’s Catholic School, the Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation, Rainbow Hospice or the charity of one's choice. The Hafemeister Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
The former Jane Fendt
was born
Jane attended St.
Henry’s Grade School and was a 1941 graduate of Watertown High School. She had
been employed at the former S.S. Kresge Co. and the former Glenn Manufacturing
Co., both in Watertown.
Jane was a lifelong
member of St. Henry’s, serving as a member of the Christian Mothers. She was
also a member of the Watertown Historical Society, PALS, Watertown Senior
Center and Quad County AARP Chapter No. 4745. She had also been a volunteer at
Watertown Memorial Hospital, Veterans Home in King, St. Vincent De Paul in
Watertown and the former St. Joseph's Home in Watertown.
