Wenzel Prochazka, Jr.

1868-1950

 

Funeral services for Wenzel Prochazka, 81, of 1412 Oconomowoc Avenue, took place in St. Henry's. Death was on May 18, 1950. The Rev. A. H. Foltz officiated and interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

 

Mr. Prochazka was a member of St. Henry's Church and of the Catholic Order of Foresters.

 

Mr. Prochazka was born here on Sept. 16, 1868. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Prochazka, Sr., and had lived in Watertown all his life. At one time he was engaged in the grocery business. He had also spent many years as a gardener and raised plants on a large scale which were sold to the public.

 

He was the last member of his immediate family.

 

Surviving are a niece and a nephew, Blanche Jessup and George Kautsky, both of New York.
