Jennie Plenge
1914-2003
Jennie E. Plenge,
88, of 615 S. Seventh St.,
Watertown, died Feb. 14, 2003.
Funeral services were at St. Henry’s
Catholic Church. Burial was at the Riverside Cemetery, formerly the Sacred
Heart Cemetery, in Nekoosa, Wisconsin.
Jennie Plenge
was born Feb. 20, 1914,
in Milwaukee, the daughter of Antoni and Josephine (Wasielewski)
Karbowski. She was a 1931 graduate of the Alexander
High School in Nekoosa. She also attended MATC in Watertown in 1970. She was
employed at the Nekoosa Edwards Paper Company in Nekoosa for 14 1/2 years. She
and her husband owned and operated Dick's Friendly Tavern in Watertown and
Slinger. She was also employed at the
Watertown Memorial Hospital as a secretary in the Dietary Department. She was a
member of St. Henry’s and had been active in the Meals on Wheels program for
many years.
