A
party attended by friends and relatives was held at the home of his son-in-law
and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Wanke, Route 5.
A
retired farmer, Mr. Pitterle had been a lifelong
resident of the Watertown area. He was
born
Mr. Pitterle continued to enjoy very good health as his 97th
birthday neared. He remained active. The
feeding of the birds, pheasants, squirrels and rabbits on the grounds of the
manor is one of his pet projects.
In
addition to the daughter living on Route 5, Mr. Pitterle
had a son, Norbert, who resided at
