Edward Manke, Sr

1932 - 2003

 

 

Edward J. Manke, 70, of 305 E. Spaulding St., Watertown, died on Feb. 7, 2003.

 

Funeral services were held at St. Henry’s Catholic Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.  Graveside military rites conducted by the Watertown Veterans Council.

 

Born Feb. 21, 1932, in Waukesha, son of Lester A. and Mary W. (Doyle) Manke. He married the former Viola E. Kreuser on Oct. 10, 1970, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Watertown.

 

Ed attended Menomonee High School and had been employed at Waukesha Foundry Dresser Industries in Waukesha as an inspector. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church.
