Malinda Loeffler

1900-2003

 

 

Malinda K. Loeffler, 102, Watertown, died July 26, 2003.

 

A memorial service was held at the Hafemeister Funeral Home and burial was in St. Henry’s Cemetery.

 

Malinda was born on Sept. 17, 1900, in La Crosse, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Keppel) Kendhamer.  She married George Loeffler Sr. on June 29, 1920, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in La Crosse.

 

Malinda attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School in La Crosse. She and her husband owned and operated Loeffler Greenhouse in Watertown for over 40 years. Malinda was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown. She was the proud mother of 12 children. She enjoyed cooking and baking homemade bread daily.
