It's nice to know a dad is there

To share so many things -

The warm and happy moments

And the challenges life brings.

It's nice to know a dad is there

To love and understand,

To be a friend when hopes and dreams

Don't go the way they're planned.

It's nice to know a dad is there,

And it's especially true

That most of all, it's nice to know

The dad who's there is you.
