Lois G. Kunert

1931 - 2007

 

Lois G. Kunert, 75, of Watertown, died Wednesday morning, May 9, 2007, at Marquardt Memorial Manor in Watertown.

 

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with Father Bernard Rott of St. Henry Catholic Church officiating.

 

Burial will take place in St. Henry Catholic Cemetery.

 

Family and friends may call to pay their respects at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.

 

Memorials are suggested to the charity of one's choice.

 

The Hafemeister Funeral Home of Watertown is in charge of arrangements.

 

Lois was born Oct. 28, 1931, in West Allis, daughter of the late Raymond J. and Florence (Steinbarth) Noe.

 

On Feb. 11, 1950, she married Arnold H. Kunert at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Richwood.

 

Arnold preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1972.

 

She then married Eugene "Bill" Brennecke, who also preceded her in death.

 

Lois was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown.

 

She loved to read and embroider.

 

She is survived by a daughter, Karen (Chuck Gones) Kunert of Muskego; three sons, Jim (Kathy) Kunert of Watertown, Rick (Karin) Kunert of Rice Lake and John (Jean) Kunert of Watertown; nine grandchildren, Jenny (Peter) Braatz, Michael (Michelle) Kunert, Natalie Trujillo, Jamie (Donny) Winkelman, Eric (Heather) Kunert, Katie (Jesse) Almendarez, Emily Larnberton, Kelly and Kyle Kunert; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Noe of Reeseville; and two sisters, Geraldine (Donald) Booth of Beaver Dam and Lenore Borchardt of Fennimore.

 

She was further preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Jr., William and Joseph; and a sister, Delores Ninmann.
