Marjorie Krummel

1915 - 2009

 

 

MONTELLO - Marjorie D. Krummel, 93, of Montello and formerly of Watertown, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2009, at Montello Care Center.

 

The former Marjorie D. Stosick was born on May 24, 1915, in South Milwaukee, daughter of George and Laura Stosick.  On Aug., 16, 1938, she married Edward Krummel and he preceded her in death on March 18, 1982.  She and her husband had farmed in the Watertown area for many years.  She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church.

 

Marjorie had been an avid card player and belonged to several card clubs in Watertown.

 

Survivors include her children, Mary Jane Zimmerman of Watertown and William (Mary) Krummel of Watertown; six grandchildren, Susan (Tom) McMahon, Sandra (Kevin) Kaul, Steven Krummel, Holly Krummel, Dale (Kim) Krummel and Chris (Tina) Krummel; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

She was further preceded in death by a son, John Krummel; her parents; two brothers, George Stosick and John Stosick; a sister, Eleanor Cherney; and a son-in-law, James Zimmerman.

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church with Father Brian Wilk officiating.  Entombment will be in Glenview Memorial Gardens, Ixonia.

 

Family and friends may call on Friday from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.
