Mathilda Kreuziger

1876 - 1949

 

Mrs. Edward Kreuziger, 72, of 221 Division Street, died April 7, 1949.

 

She was the former Mathilda Frodl. She was born in Berlin, Germany on Dec. 14, 1876, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Frodl. They came to this country when she was about three years old and settled at Jefferson. She was married there in St. John the Baptist Catholic church on Nov. 14, 1899 to Mr. Kreuziger. He passed away here in 1946. Mrs. Kreuziger had lived in this community for the past 50 years.

 

Mrs. Kreuziger was a member of St. Henry's Church, the Christian Mothers confraternity and the Rosary confraternity.

 

The funeral was held at St. Henry's with the Rev. A. H. Foltz as the celebrant. Interment was St. Henry's Cemetery.
