Bernard Kreiziger
1866 - 1934
 
Bernard Kreiziger, one of the well known farm residents of this section, died October 15, 1934, at his home in the town of Milford, route 2, Johnson Creek, following a heart attack. He was stricken only six hours before his death. 
 
Born on March 2, 1866, in Landskrohn, Austria, he came to this country in 1874. He took up residence near Richwood and later lived in the vicinity of Lowell. He was for 18 years a cheesemaker and the rest of his life in this country was spent in farming. 
 
He was married February 16, 1898 to Miss Frances Gallitz of Reeseville. 
 
Mr. Kreiziger was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church of this city. The body was brought to the James W. Boyle chapel but was returned to the home and friends called there up to the time of the funeral.
 
Services were conducted in St. Henry's Church. The Rev. Dean F.X. Schwinn officiated and burial was in St. Henry's Cemetery.
