Norbert J. Kirsch, 83, of Watertown,
died on Saturday evening,

Norbert was born
Norbert was a graduate of Cudahy
High School. He was a coordinator for the American Bowling Congress in
Milwaukee, retiring in 1987. Norbert was a veteran of World War II, serving in
the United States Marine Corps. He served with the 4th Division Marines in the
Pacific and was involved with “The Fighting Fourth of World War II,” which
included Roi-Namur, Saipan,
Tinian and Iwo Jima. He was awarded three Purple Hearts and numerous
medals.
Norbert was a member of St. Henry
Catholic Church in Watertown and enjoyed golfing and traveling.
He is survived by a son, Carter
Kirsch of Fallon, Nev.; a daughter, Cynthia Cimbalnik
of Johnson Creek; seven grandchildren, Andy, Amy, Scott, Kim, Joshua, Jacob and
Joey; six great-grandchildren, Jackson, Nathan, Michael, Logan, Brady, Katelyn; and two special friends, Millie and Helen of
Watertown.
He was further preceded in death by
his wife, Shirley Kirsch, on
