Marie M. Kellerman
1913 - 2008
Marie
M. Kellerman, 95, of Windsor, formerly of Watertown, passed away on Monday,
Oct. 27, 2008, at Pineview Living Center in Windsor.
The
former Marie M. Volant was born on Oct. 18, 1913, in Hurley, the daughter of
John and Martha (Miller) Volant. She
graduated from Watertown High School and was employed at the Watertown Shoe
Factory, prior to her marriage. On Sept.
25, 1937, she married Edgar J. Kellerman at St. Henry Catholic Church and he
preceded her in death on April 21, 1997.
Marie
was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and a member and past president of
the Christian Mother's and Altar Confraternity, Home and School, Catholic
Women's Club, Ladies of Elk's and the Saturday Club. She was active in Scouting with her children,
a volunteer for the Watertown Hospital Auxiliary and St. Vincent de Paul. She was an avid bridge player.
Survivors
include her children, Mary (Jim) Lemminger of
Watertown, Joseph (Joan) Kellerman of Madison, James Kellerman of Madison,
Robert (Jo Chern) Kellerman of Monona and Jane
Kellerman of Stevens Point; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three
great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She
was further preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Eugene Volant; and a
sister, Bertha Kreuger.
A Mass
of Christian burial will be on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church
with Father Brian Wilk celebrating.
Burial will be in St. Henry
Cemetery.
Family
and friends may call on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Memorials
to St. Vincent de Paul would be appreciated.
