Frank Kehr

1884 - 1951

 

Frank H. Kehr, 67, a widely known Watertown businessman who, with his brother, the late Emil Kehr, founded Kehr Bros., a heating firm here 45 years ago, died July 25, 1951, in a Madison hospital where he had been a patient for the previous ten days. His .home was at 109 South Seventh Street.

 

Mr. Kehr was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church and of Branch No. 120, Catholic Knights of Wisconsin. He was an honorary member of the Watertown Turners, in which he had long been active.

 

Mr. Kehr was a life-long resident of Watertown. He was born March 3, 1884, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alphonzo Kehr.  On Dec. 29, 1906 he married Miss Clara Creuz.
