Edward Kasper

1878 - 1962

 

Edward Kasper, 84, a retired farmer of the Clyman area and a resident of Watertown since 1936, died December 14, 1962, at his home at 309 Dewey Ave in Watertown.  Death was due to a heart attack.

 

Mr. Kasper was born in the town of Clyman on October 24, 1878, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lucius Kasper.  He was married at St. Henry’s on January 18, 1911, to Marie Heiling.  She survived.

 

One sister and one brother also survived.  Mrs. Anna Metzger, Columbus, and Frank Kasper, Beaver Dam.

 

Mr. Kasper was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers and three sisters.

 

He was a member of St. Henry’s and the Holy Name Society.

 

A solemn requiem Mass at held at St. Henry’s and Father Anthony Herrmann officiated.  Interment was in the parish cemetery.
