Agnes M. Justmann

1913 - 2003

 

 

Agnes M. Justmann, 89, 1121 Highland Ave., Watertown, died Aug. 20, 2003, at Marquardt Memorial Manor.

 

A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Henry’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial was in Glenview Memorial Gardens, Ixonia.

 

The former Agnes Schuch was born Oct. 7, 1913, in Watertown, daughter of John and Catherine (Roets) Schuch. She married Carl Justmann on Aug. 8, 1939, at St. Henry’s.

 

Agnes graduated in 1928 from St. Henry’s Catholic Grade School and was a 1932 graduate of Watertown High School. She had been employed at the former Midstate Shoe Factory in Watertown and at Fischer's Department Store as a sales clerk. She and her husband owned and operated the former Justmann Liquor Store in Watertown and the Budweiser Inn, also in Watertown, for more than 10 years. Agnes was a lifelong member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown.
